1. Acceptance of Terms

By visiting a Covelo Tech website or downloading, installing, or using any Covelo Tech product, including Hari, SplashCenter, TaskCove, TraderCove, or related websites and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use our applications and websites for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms and, where applicable, the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA).

App-Specific Terms

Each product below has its own terms section. Open the app you use to see the subscription terms, acceptable-use rules, and product-specific disclaimers that apply to that specific app.

Hari App

User Accounts

Some Hari features require you to create an account. When you create an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Promptly update any changes to your information
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use Hari. Your use of Hari is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Subscriptions & Purchases

Hari offers both free and premium (Pro) tiers:

  • Free Tier: Up to 6 plants, stored locally on your device
  • Pro Tier: Unlimited plants, cloud sync, AI identification, and social features

Subscription Terms

  • Payment: All payments are processed securely by Apple through the App Store
  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • Cancellation: You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings
  • Refunds: Refund requests must be made through Apple
  • Price Changes: We may adjust pricing; you will be notified in advance

If Your Pro Subscription Expires: Plants beyond the 6-plant limit become temporarily frozen. Frozen plants are preserved and reactivate when you resubscribe. Apple may retry billing during payment issues.

Acceptable Use

When using Hari, you agree not to:

  • Impersonate other users or create misleading usernames
  • Harass, bully, or abuse other users through social features
  • Share inappropriate or offensive content through profile or plant names

Plant Care Disclaimer

Plant Care Advice: While we strive to provide accurate plant identification and care recommendations, this information is provided “as is” for educational purposes only.

We do not guarantee the accuracy of plant identification or care advice. Always use your best judgment and consult professional sources when caring for plants, especially those that may be toxic or require specialized care.

SplashCenter App

Your use of SplashCenter is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

AI Features & Content

SplashCenter uses artificial intelligence to generate basketball analysis, player comparisons, and chat responses. By using these features, you acknowledge:

  • AI-Generated Content: Responses from the AI chat and analysis features are generated by language models and may not always be accurate. They are provided for entertainment and informational purposes only.
  • No Gambling Advice: SplashCenter is not a betting or gambling application. AI insights should not be used as the basis for any gambling or wagering decisions.
  • Basketball Only: The AI chat is designed to discuss basketball and NBA topics only. Off-topic queries will be declined.
  • Data Sources: SplashCenter uses publicly available NBA data from ESPN and other sports data providers. We do not guarantee the accuracy or timeliness of this data.
  • No Affiliation: SplashCenter is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the NBA, ESPN, or any NBA team. All trademarks, team names, and logos are the property of their respective owners.

Free Tier & Ads

  • Rate Limits: Free users have daily limits on certain AI features, including AI chat. Limits may reset daily and may change over time as we operate the service.
  • Ads: SplashCenter displays advertisements through Google AdMob. Banner and rewarded ads help support the cost of the free app and AI features. You may watch rewarded video ads to earn bonus AI chat usage when that option is available.
  • No Account Required: SplashCenter does not require sign-up or login. The core app is free to use; an optional Pro subscription is available (see below).

SplashCenter Pro (Subscription)

SplashCenter is free to use, and the free tier is complete on its own. An optional Pro subscription adds extras on top — it does not gate or remove any existing free feature. For example, AI game recaps are free after every finished game; Pro adds the live, in-game version (along with 10× the daily AI chat and an ad-free experience).

  • Free Tier: Live scores, box scores, highlights, the daily AI Top 10, AI chat (with a daily limit), player comparisons, trends, the entire daily SplashGuess game, and AI recaps after every finished game — all free.
  • Pro Tier: 10× the daily AI chat, live AI game stories (AI-narrated game recaps as games unfold), and an ad-free experience.

Subscription Terms

  • Pricing: SplashCenter Pro is offered as monthly and annual auto-renewing subscriptions. Current U.S. launch pricing is $3.99/month or $29.99/year, with no free trial. Prices may vary by region; the exact price, billing period, and renewal terms are shown in the App Store purchase flow before you confirm.
  • Payment: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase.
  • Auto-Renewal: The subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
  • Cancellation: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings.
  • Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with App Store policy.
  • Price Changes: We may adjust pricing; you will be notified in advance, and changes take effect no earlier than your next renewal.

If Your Pro Subscription Expires: You return to the free tier — with ads and the standard daily limits. Nothing in the free tier is lost. Apple may retry billing during payment issues.

Acceptable Use

When using SplashCenter, you agree not to:

  • Attempt to manipulate, bypass, or circumvent AI rate limits or daily usage caps
  • Use the AI chat to generate content unrelated to basketball or the NBA
  • Attempt prompt injection or other techniques to override AI system instructions
  • Scrape, harvest, or systematically download data from the app
  • Redistribute AI-generated analysis as your own content for commercial purposes
TaskCove App

TaskCove is in active development. Features, pricing, availability, and supported platforms may change before public launch.

Tasks, Reminders, and Household Information

  • TaskCove is intended as a productivity and household-memory tool, not as professional legal, financial, safety, medical, or maintenance advice.
  • Reminders, forecasts, scans, and AI-generated summaries may be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing important dates, documents, maintenance obligations, and any real-world actions you take.
  • Beta or early-access versions may be unstable and may change materially before launch.
TraderCove App

TraderCove is in active development. Features, pricing, availability, and supported platforms may change before public launch.

Trading and Market Information

  • TraderCove is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, financial planner, or fiduciary.
  • TraderCove content, alerts, watchlists, AI-generated explanations, and market signals are provided for informational and educational purposes only and are not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.
  • Markets involve risk, including possible loss of principal. You are solely responsible for your trading and investing decisions.
  • AI-generated content may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. Do not rely on TraderCove as the only source for financial decisions.
  • TraderCove does not place trades or move funds unless a future feature explicitly supports that action and you separately authorize it through the required product flow.

General Acceptable Use

Across all Covelo Tech products, you agree not to:

  • Use the app for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
  • Interfere with or disrupt the app's servers or networks
  • Upload malicious code or content
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of our apps—including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software—are the exclusive property of Covelo Tech LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APPS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COVELO TECH LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to our services at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

Your Right to Delete: You may delete your account or data at any time via the app settings. Deletion permanently removes your data.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page. Your continued use of the app after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
